What are Abilities?
Abilities are developed through training, they are what the horse has to give them either improvement or lower their chances in either a race or show.
What are Stats?
Stats are what your horses levels are in certain things e.g. Jumping 5/10 , left lead 2/10. These are improved via training. They can also be improved by entering either training or schooling shows.
What is Training?
Training is the way you improve your horse to enter in races or competitions. These go towards your Stats.
How do abilities work?
Abilities work in a very simple way, they are determined depending on the discipline/s your horse/s is/are.
Every horse will start of with all their abilities at nothing. To earn abilities you need to improve your stats through training, this grants you with an ability e.g loves jumping, hates jumping in the center, hates long tracks, bears, strong left lead etc..... It can continue on and on.
So once you have improved a stat you can earn several abilities. Please do note there is a maximum of 4 abilities. e.g Jump training level 10 = Loves to jump, Left leg level 10 = Strong L. Lead OR Left lead.
There are many abilities however, if your horse has all their stats to 10 then the abilities will be random generated.

[div align="center"]How To Train for Show Jumping
[div align="left"]
Training for Show Jumping is a very simple thing, you first need said equine then you must know what their traits are and go from there.
First rules on training are basic,
Any equine that qualifies to be a race horse must be a minimum of two years of age. They must be of full health. They must be registered in the Show Jumping discipline. Equines must also be registered with the Genus Equus Breed Federation. Find out more information about registration [a href="http://genusequus.freeforums.net/board/11/genus-equus-breed-federation"]here[/a].
Now lets provide an Example Equine to help make this simpler.
We have:
Name of equine: Thunderbolt
Age: 2 years
Breed: Thoroughbred
Traits: Dominant, Reactive, High energy, Brave, Confident.
Discipline: Flat Racer
Registered Federation Number: #0001
Registered Discipline Number: #0001
Now I want to train all his stats, this can take a while.
So this is how we do it.
Please fillout the following form and post in members training thread,
ONCE YOU HAVE POSTED YOUR TRAINING CARD IN THE THREAD YOU MUST NOT ALTER IT IN ANYWAY, THIS CAN ALTER THE DICE ROLL WHICH YOU THEN MAY BE ACCUSED OF CHEATING, IF YOU HAVE MADE A MISTAKE PLEASE INFORM THE DISCIPLINES VICE PRESIDENT OR PRESIDENT, OR THE DISCIPLINES TRAINER!
Training Card:

Dice Roll: y3YQ5I6a
You must keep the "Dice Roll" Part of the trainer card alone, this allows to randomly roll the dice 3 times, however if you are only wanting to train one stat once, you may only then delete the two other dice called "[ roll ]" once posted no other dice can be added, you must fillout a new form and lave alone the previously posted one!

Okay this is the simple training method used to make sure no one is cheating.
I then rolled the Dice once, it has landed on a 5, that means what ever stat I just just rolled for that stat is now at 5, I now only have 5 left to do, so now I roll again, it lands on a 1 I now only have 4 left to do, I then roll again I land on a 4 I now have finished that stat. I must now wait 1 Real life day before I can train any stat again.
Stats go from 1 - 10, You must never train your horse more than 3 times a day.
You may train 3 different stats a day. For example I can only train 1 horse 3 times a day that means I can roll the dice once for one stat, then roll again for another stat, and again for another stat. this way I have trained 3 stats once, and that equals to how many times I am allowed to train a day.
Once you are happy with what you daily training has been you will then see at the end of the week an update in a spreadsheet kept by the trainers, who may send it to you of your equines progress. It may be organized like so:
[div align="center"]

[/div]
As you can see once the trainer has viewed all your training throughout the week he will then update how much progression your equine is doing. Once you stat is 10/10 you trainer must then give your equine the ability and name the blue box with what ability the equine has gained in this case its obedience, and always be on atleast once a week to review his emails to update all the training that has gone on over the days.
Once your equine has done all stat training, and has selected abilities you may then enter your equine in a training show this will then rack up their experience and get them at a higher level for Show Jumping competitions over their lifetime,
Thank-you for reading, please head over to Questions thread for anyone still not sure.
